Sound - Wrong Money Wrong City Right Sound

Description

Following the Fluxus tradition, simultaneous processes executed in five capital cities: exchange, transmission, capture and human connection. Each member of the group sent the wrong money to the wrong city, and while doing so, recorded the right sound. The cities of Hong Kong, Taipei, London, St. Petersburg, and Zurich have been unified by currency exchange, letter sending, and listening. Each city has a unique acoustic cityscape bustling with language, economy and energy. This project captures that energy in photographic, sonic, and postal forms. Listen to our letters.
