Hacking Global Pop Icons 2019

Description:

During the Summer School Hacking Global Pop Icons on the subject of “Tinder: Intimacy at Distance” twenty students from Hong Kong, Hangzhou, London and Zurich explored the impact of online-dating-apps changing the way people form connections in the age of the infosphere and topics like self-presentation and socio-technical dynamics in Zurich. Students developed mixed-media artworks, performances and the design concept for a one-night exhibition at the former erotic cinema Kino Roland in the epicentre of Zurich’s nightlife.
