Here’s the call for the second issue of the "Journal of Global Pop Cultures", edited by Shared Campus Publications and run by an international team of editors. This year's theme is "The Natures of Pop" – how do new understandings of nature and culture in the Anthropocene affect popular culture studies? How is nature portrayed and envisioned in pop artifacts? Can pop still be called "artificial" when the world itself is turning into an artifact? We are looking for scholarly and artistic research contributions (peer-reviewed) as well as more playful or journalistic contributions for the magazine section of the journal.
