The Journal for Global Pop Cultures is an online open access journal edited by Shared Campus Publications. It is dedicated to the dissemination of research on pop culturs in theory and practice. The international editorial board welcomes projects on the borders and intersections of various disciplines; scholarly texts as well as multimedia, experimental, essayistic approaches. Currently the journal is under development. In its final form, it will consist of three sections:
1. the peer-reviewed section "Journal" publishes research papers (including artistic research) in annual thematic issues. The publication of the first issue on "Real Fake / Fake Realness" is scheduled for autumn 2022.
2. the non-peer-reviewed section "Insights" features pop-related art and design projects from the Shared Campus partner institutions.
3. the open section "Magazine" is intended for a broader public.
