Description
Dorita is an artist, director, and designer based in Tokyo. By combining different functions and senses, and by using technology in parallel, she aims to create an entry point for thinking, to create an experience that shifts conventional senses, or to build a new relationship between humans and living things. In recent years, she has created a work that questions the evolution of robotics, organisms, and plants by attaching artificial muscles to plants, and is currently showing a film at the International Cruise Terminal that considers the endangered eel Leptocephalus, robot, and humans swimming together. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree at the University of Tokyo, searching for a space between research and expression.
