The exhibition opens on Thursday 24.08, at 6pm with free drinks at Toni Cinema (Room 3.G02)
Throughout the evening there will be 3 sets of performances starting at 6.30pm, 7.30pm and final round at 9pm.
we sink and settle on the waves is a exhibition showcase by the participants of Shared Campus Summer School: Hacking Global Pop Icons. The interdisciplinary works aim to blur the lines between the ocean and being human, inviting the viewer to step into a new state of being - a state which ebbs and flows, comes and goes, just as the waves on the ocean. Using the ocean as a common starting point, this exhibition takes the viewer on a journey where new thoughts and discoveries can flourish, a place that feels safe, yet somehow always new and changing.
… And in me too the wave rises.
I feel a thousand capacities spring up in me. I am arch, gay, languid, and melancholy by turns. I am rooted, but I flow.
