Description
In the 70s, it was considered extravagant, then obscene, but since the 2010s it has been part of everyday life. In the history of animal print, it has rarely been about the animal, as the print is a denaturalised matter by texture. It refers less to the animal than it quotes itself in eternal variations in a self-referential loop – in haute couture and street fashion.
