The yearly mini festival showcases our activities of the theme (Global) “Pop Cultures.” In our opinion, pop cultures are one of the main driving forces in the globalisation and innovation of cultures. Pop is also a sphere where politics, identities, and social questions are negotiated. It is characterized by the interplay between “high and low,” mainstream and subculture, academia and entertainment.
