Having kept all of my milk teeth from childhood, I weighed each one on the kitchen scale. By applying an archeological approach to the study of my personal relics, this work explores the weight and materiality of memory. As I attempt to weigh this lost time, the result is always 0 grams.
PUN Tsz Wai
Tsz Wai Pun is an emerging video artist and filmmaker based in Hong Kong. In the age of speed and saturation, she reflects upon the meaning of stillness. Challenging the conventional split between documentary and fictional storytelling, she experiments with narrativity and imaging in a playful way. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Sciences from the University College London and is currently an MFA student at the School of Creative Media, the City University Hong Kong.
