We are happy to launch the second issue of the Journal of Global Pop Cultures, edited by the Shared Campus Publications team. This year’s theme is “The Natures of Pop” – how do new understandings of nature and culture in the Anthropocene affect popular culture studies? How is nature portrayed and envisioned in pop artifacts? Can pop still be called ‘artificial’ when the world itself is turning into an artifact?
