Description
The song Toxic by Britney Spears and its corresponding stage choreography are performed in this 16x slowed-down performance, Slowburn. In this extreme extension, the choreography refuses the immediate satisfaction of the original 143 beats per minute. Everything is in a state of constant becoming: pop becomes deep time. Slowburn is a mesmerizing manifesto against the continuous acceleration of our presence.
